Description:
Hey guys, George Hill and I want to ski tour up to Meager Creek Hot Spring from January 25-27th. This trip will entail at least a 4-6 hour tour into the hotspring with one river crossing (It will be a tough trip and you might get wet).
This will be a intermediate trip so AST 1 and ski touring endurance is required. I have not been up Meager Creek Hot spring since last year so depending on the snow pack and water levels we will have to scout out where to cross the Upper Lillooet River.
Here is the general plan for the weekend:
Friday, Jan 25th: Leave UBC around 5:30pm and start driving up to Pemberton (2-3 hr drive). Arrive at the Upper Lillooet River and camp just before the river crossing.
Saturday, Jan 26th: Whole day tour into the Meager Creek Hot Springs (4-6 hour tour)
Sunday, Jan 27th: Leave Meager Creek Hot Springs at 8:00 am and arrive back at the car around 1:00. We should be back at UBC no later than 5pm.
