edit Feb 16: weather looks decent so we're on! Order your cinnamon buns here https://forms.gle/rPmxymTQbMcKSGkm9 by 11am Thursday Feb 17. Bring $5 cash for a bun, hand sanitizer, napkins, and something to eat off of. For everyone else, bring a mask, fairy lights, lanterns, headlamps in red mode, and good vibes!
edit Feb 8: note - this event is open to all, not just VOC members. So invite your roommates, your friends, and your neighbor's dogs ;)
Join myself and other VOCers at a VOC Park Social, planned for Thursday February 17, 7-10pm at Almond Park near Broadway/Alma (google maps link)!
Almond Park is very transit accessible with plenty of car (and bike) parking, and is near Grounds for Coffee where a fresh cinammon bun order is in the works (about $5) ;) stay tuned
Bring your beverage of choice in an opaque container.
The event will happen light rain or shine. Aka if it's drizzling, it's on, but if it's pouring, it's off.
If folks can bring large tarps and some fairy lights, I think we could create a nice vibe similar to a particular Scottish VOC "trip" that I was sad to miss in the fall ;)
Feel free to invite your non-VOC friends!
This will be a social event and new and older VOCers are encouraged to intermingle to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
If someone near you is wearing a mask, consider putting a mask on to respect their covid comfort level!
