Description:
The balls are rolling on a big ski film movie night in the next few weeks - similar to last year's successful event. The location, date, and time are still being worked out, but the stoke can start now!
The two feature films we will be showing will be
1. The Approach 2 (trailer)
2. Nexus (trailer)
Depending on the dates, we might actually be the Canadian premier of one or both of these films!
Last year we showed They/Them (trailer, film) and The Approach 1 (trailer, film).
What's new this year and the reason for this separate post is that we are going to be showing some "homemade" VOC films, montaged by the VOC's own Giulio who has created some wonderful films for VOC trips.
Soooo if you want to get your footage on the big screen, submit your footage by emailing Giulio ([email protected]) and CC me ([email protected]) with the following format...

Body: name of people represented in the footage, credits
Attachment: your video files, ideally labeled and edited to remove boring parts.

What we're looking for: skiing, snowshoeing, and other winter activities are preferred, but if you have a hilarious or epic non-snow covered scene, we might let it slide. Submissions are due Wedesday Oct 19 at midnight.
Notes:
- please do not submit dangerous/stupid footage where people get badly injured, you get burried by an avalanche, etc.. We don't want newer backcountry enthusiasists to get the idea that the mountains are a playground that we can just laugh at when accidents happen.
- submitting a video does not guarantee it being featured at the event
- the more editing the better - makes Giulio's job wayyy easier
- club trip footage is especially wanted, but not required
- total footage length should be no more than 5 minutes!
- audio might be cut out or enhanced to Giulio's liking
- get consent of the people in the footage for it to be shown at this event and also on Giulio's Youtube channel
