Hey VOCers!
Did you get any great shots of special moments you and your friends shared in the outdoors this year? Did you bring a camera or cellphone with you as you hiked from forests to mountain peaks?
If yes, you should consider submitting your photos to the 2023-2024 VOC Photo Contest!
We're looking for images taken over the course of the past year (2023) that fit into any of five categories: 1) an image of a landscape, 2) a portrait shot of someone, 3) an action shot of subject(s) in action and doing cool things, 4) an image centering flora and/or fauna, and 5) an image taken during a VOC workhike and/or club activity that tells a story about VOC club culture.

Deadline: Sunday January 28th at 11:59 PM **EXTENDED to Thursday February 1st at 11:59 PM**
Details:
- You must be a current VOC member to take submit images to the photo contest.
- You are allowed to upload one submission per category per person - overall, you can submit up to five photos.
- You can not submit the same photo for different categories.
- The winning photos will be chosen by public vote. A post will be made on the trip agenda with a link to a voting form when this form closes. If there are too many photos submitted to a category, it is possible that a pre-selection will be done with the help of outside photographers.
- The winner and runner up of each category will be featured in the 2023-24 VOC Journal, and a prize will be granted to the winner of each category. More details to be announced later.
