Description:
We should be able to drive to within 6 km of the Hut; there will be snow but you won't need snowshoes. Hut is warm so inferior-quality sleeping bag is fine. This is perhaps the easiest time to get to Brew, because the logging road is drivable and the snow still covers the shrubberies.
There is a major work trip going up next weekend in case you can't make this trip.
There is Veenstra's Traverse happening this weekend, which you won't want to miss if you have aspirations to toughness, but if you are feeling wimpy this trip might be a better choice.
