Description:

Heading up to the Chief one last time before winter comes & the season comes to an end.

The Stawamus Chief is an intermediate hike with a good amount of elevation gain, so if you dont mind a bit of huffing and puffing here and there (and a snack break or two) you'll be rewarded with a very beautiful view. I've also seen people doing it (surprisingly successfully) in flip flops and supreme hoodies, so I'm inclined to say this is a challenging but doable trip if you're a determined beginner.

Weather is set to be sunny/slightly cloudy so hopefully we get a good view of Howe Sound and the neighbouring mountains.

Plan is to wake up early on Sunday and leave around 8:00. It gets very packed so the earlier we're willing to go the emptier the summit will be. It would be cool to do more than 1 peak, but will also take a few hours longer... we'll see how the first one goes and if everybody is beaming with energy we can keep going.

If you would like to help co-organize this trip that would be very welcome!
