Description:

Google tells me that there's a chance it won't rain on Friday in Squamish. Assuming this holds true, I'd love to get outdoors for some trad cragging. This is a tentative trip; if I can't find anyone interested, or the weather deteriorates, I'll probably pull the plug. But it's about time I actually get climbing after sitting inside doing nothing most of the term.

My tentative plan is to go somewhere in Squamish (exact crag TBD) and flail on easy trad routes as I haven't climbed in months. Ultimately, my goal is to get climbing, so I'm fairly flexible on this.

REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND:

1. Figure out your own ride: carpooling outside your bubble is not allowed, as per VOC guidelines. We'll also be making an honest effort to remain distanced at the crag; I take COVID safety seriously, as it would suck to get it when we seem to be mere months away from getting vaccinated.

2. Be comfortable with trad climbing. I don't want this to be an instructional trip. That being said, I have a double rack so depending on sign up numbers you don't necessarily need your own gear beyond basic personal gear.
