Description:

Another alternative to the Rock Party festivities!

Looking for some friends to join me on this 15km, 1546m elevation gain hike. It's rated as difficult and I'd like to go at a brisk(ish) pace. If you can comfortably run 10km steady you should be fine. Those in the group who feel keen can complete the scramble to the top. It's allegedly with decent exposure and some loose gravel. I anticipate rain and little to no water sources along the route.

We'll drive out early in the AM to ensure we can get a parking spot at the nearby school, thus avoiding the unfathomable $24 parking fee at the trailhead.

This is not a beginner friendly trip. It's also my first time in the area so we may need to do some troubleshooting together ;). Capping the number at 8 people total. Will split gas between carpools.
