Description:

Hey everybody!

Non-Vancouverites venturing into the interior aka Cathedral Provincial Park to see some golden larches (supposed to be less crowded than Manning also better weather forecast for the weekend!) We are easy going and chill, but unfortunately our friend with the car bailed on us so now we rented a car, which means factor rent + gas into your cost assessment! Rent is around 100 bucks-ish.

BUT IF YOU HAVE A CAR of course (best case) we are more than happy to ditch the rental and pitch in for gas and are down to drive!

We are looking preferably for someone our age mid to end of 20s with a car (haha) and who's open-minded and just wanting to have a fun time. Aka we are ambitious but we will take it slow and want to enjoy the nature, take some nice film photos etc. ! :)

 If interested text me Elli: (778) 886-6992

The plan is from the 30st Thursday to 3rd Sunday:

- 30th -> drive to Osoyoos, wine, camp at Wall Creek or Lakeview Trailhead

- 1st - >hike to Lake of the Woods Campsite

- 2nd -> Hike pref. this one https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/british-columbia/glacier-lake-cathedral-rim-base-of-grimface-and-pyramid-lake-trail

- 3rd -> hike down and go home

 Leaving thursday can be flexible as first campsite is accessible with car ! as we need to hike back from the campground to parking I guess Sunday is depending how early we leave.

The people:

- 27 year old, F, white collar office worker, fit-ish (but ambitious), from Toronto (did some hiking camping trips)

- 24 year old, F, Berliner (not the donut), UBC masters student, into film photography and recently discovered my passion for rock climbing (did a few day hikes, this would be first overnight, so super excited)

-25 year old, F, Australian and my roomie, settling into BC and likes collection shells at the beach.

TBD: Car costs, and if you're comin'
