Description:

BC Adventure smart https://www.adventuresmart.ca/ runs a LOT of awesome programming to educate folks about safety in the backcountry. The sessions will be recorded - you need to sign up and then the recording will be sent to you after the event.

If there is a lot of interest (aka with the signup tools), we can do a viewing in the clubroom! I will buy bluechip cookies for folks if they come ;) So signup if you're interested! If you want to attend in the clubroom, you do not need to register for the event as I will register for the group.

Our third event in our Winter Safety Series comes stacked with passionate guests!
First, we have an Association of Canadian Mountain Guides snowshoe guide, Nathalie Drotar, who's also from an all-female-owned company offering outdoor adventure packages. Winter digital navigation will be the focus of Nathalie's discussion.
Often with a birds-eye view, Rob Munday is our second guest. Rob's the Chief Hoist Operator for Blackcomb Helicopters and member in training (MIT) for Squamish Search and Rescue. How does he spot a subject? Join us to find out!
30 years in the industry as specialists in mountain disciplines of backcountry skiing, rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, hiking, mountain safety and mountain adventures, Mountain Skills Academy's Ollie Hooper will round out the evening. Snowshoe-specific AST courses and rescue skills will be Ollie's focus.
Register below to secure your spot now!
(attend the webinar you registered for and you'll be entered into our series GIVEAWAY, you could win an AST course!)
