Description:
Let's go snowshoeing up to Elk Mountain on the Fraser Valley! This peak has great views of the valley and mountains outside of Chilliwack. It's got about 750 m of elevation gain, so not too bad, though it is generally steep.
Participants will need the usual stuff for a winter day trip, including snowshoes, microspikes, warm layers, etc. I can give a more comprehensive list at the pretrip meeting as well.
Note: of the weather looks bad this trip could get moved to Sunday or to a different weekend. I'd like to enjoy the views :)
