Description:

I want to ski, you want to ski, we all want to ski. So lets ski!

The plan is to head up to Mount Rohr on Sunday in search of some fresh pow and to hopefully (conditions dependant) summit.

Round trip is 18k with about 1200 M of gain.

Given the long drive, and length of ski, we'll  have to leave Vancouver early, ideally around 5am (though if enough people are keen, I could easily be convinced to drive up the night before and car camp somewhere in the area). On the way back, we can either brave the whistler traffic, or chill in Squamish for a bit, grab a beer, and wait for the bridge to clear out.

The skiing should be relatively easy (think blue to black run). However, given that the current forecast is for it to be actively snowing, and that this isnt a short tour, you should have at least a few days touring experience to come.

Need at a minimum to have AST/AIARE 1 and avy kit.

Of course, this is all avy dependant, if the trip meeting comes around, and the avy report looks bad, we can find some other objective.
