Hey All!
Felt fitting to do some spring cleaning of the clubroom on the first day of spring. As our ski season (or at least the bulk of our ski rental season) more or less wraps up, it would be great to reorganize the gear room too :)
Come by on Tuesday to earn a pretty easy workhike. Workhikes are a vital part of the VOC, a good way to help keep the club running smoothly, and a hopefully fun way too meet people. I have a feeling that when it comes to cleaning this clubroom it's going to be like pulling at one loose string of a knitted sweater: the whole thing is going to unravel lol. So getting plenty of people to come out will be super helpful.
Here is a list of what needs to be done, with the assumption that there's always going to be more to be done:
- organize the ski boots by type and size again
- organize the backpacking and avi gear corner just by hanging things up
- discard garbage
- clean microwave
- general wipe down of every surface tbh
- sweep (and somehow mop if we're feeling thorough) the floors. If someone has a handheld vacuum that they would be interested in bringing that would be epic!
- see if we can make our rope rug a little prettier
- anything else that we discover or is suggested
We've got: brooms, spray, and can get paper towel, however, if you have some more stuff like even rags or something at your disposal, feel free to bring some!
