Description:

July 15-16 or 16-17. I'm free on mondays so I'm also in for 16-17 and maybe more people are intrested. I want to know how many people are intresten and which weekends and days they prefer!

Panorama Ridge 28.3km + 1610m of elevation gain, out & back! 8/11 hours hike! (Intermediate friendly)

Option 1:  Go for one day and do the full hike and drive back up to Vancouver.( It is a 1h 26min drive one way) Leave Vancouver early in the morning. We can park the cars at Rubble Creek Trailhead parking lot. Panorama Ridge 22km + 1570m of elevation gain!

Option 2: Camping at Taylor Meadows campground or Garibaldi lake campground. Leave Vancouver early morning on Saturday towards Garibaldi. Park at Rubble Creek parking lot, hike up to Taylor Meadows (7km, 900m elevation) or Garibaldi lake campground (9km, 900m elevation) Set up camp! We can leave heavy gear and go hiking to Panorama Ridge and back (14.3km from the campground and back, with 670m of elevation). We can have some fun night at the campground. Next day we can hike back from the campground to the parking lot (7/9km, 900 elevation).

Option 3: Camping at Taylor Meadows campground or Garibaldi lake campground. If people like to do an other hike the next day! The next morning hike to Black Tusk from the campground, the roundrip is 14km + 900m of elevation gain. Come back to camp, pack up and hike 7km or 9km back to the parking lot. Good to know the Black Tusk is quite steep but not technical, there's a bit of scrambling involved to reach the top, which means everyone needs to have a helmet (can be borrowed from the club) and be comfortable with scrambling as everyone is responsible for their own risk management.

I want to know how many people are interested in the option 2 or 3 so I can book a some tent pads! I’m totally in for a the 3 options!
