🏔️ Get Ready to Conquer Panorama Ridge and Black Tusk: The Ultimate Insta-Worthy Adventure! 🌲

Hey there, intrepid adventurers! Are you ready to lace up your hiking boots, embrace the majestic wilderness, and experience three days of epic escapades? Welcome to the most thrilling hiking trip you'll ever embark upon! The picture you'll snap at Panorama Ridge will be still your profile header when you are old and wrinkly.

Garibaldi lake is one of the most famous places in BC - it's so beautiful!

Itinerary (tentative, we can always shift things around depending on the weather):

Sunday: Drive to the trailhead, hike in to Taylor Meadows Campsite and set up camp. Drink home made lemon honey vodka. Maybe walk to Garibaldi for dinner. It would be a blast to camp at Garibaldi campsite but it is all booked up already.

Monday: Hike Black Tusk (There is a scramble to the top, right at the end. If you are not comfortable with doing that, you are welcome to wait a bit below, the views are still great from there). Go back to Taylor Meadows. More homemade vodka.

Tuesday: Set off very early, get to Panorama Ridge before the crowds, snap 54378293 photos. Go back to camp, get the packs, hike down to cars, go home.

This trip requires you to be reasonably fit and experienced with hiking longer distances. We will only be carrying our overnight packs to and from Taylor Meadows, so that makes it easier. Still, it is a little bit of a slog. You should have done overnight backpacking before. The priority is getting to the top quickly and then having lots of time to be wowed by the views. I want to spend 1-2 hours at the top of each mountain, enjoying the views is the highlight for me. The last day is going to be the toughest, 23 km with 1700 m elevation gain. If you are able to do that comfortably (remember- half of that with your big backpack) then you'll be just fine :D

I do not have a car so I encourage drivers to sign up-we need you!

I already reserved a tent pad and I will probably have room for two more people in my tent. The reservations for these days are still open for this campsite.

Do you need to request days off or swap shifts weeks in advance? Don't worry, shoot me an email ([email protected]) and we'll see what we can do, maybe we can shift the pre-trip meeting to an earlier date or sth.

I'll provide the link for pre-trip at a later date!
