Description:

Hello fellow VOC'ers who didn't manage to snag a Rock Party ticket like me. If you are looking for the best alternative, this is it, you have arrived, look no further.

Welcome to Version 2 of "Intro to Glampacking"

Dont let the title mislead you, this is not a begginner friendly trip. Intro to glampacking consists of trekking somewhere between 40 and 60km over the course of three nights and four days.

Glampacking is the art of taking unnecessary luxuries to a multi night backpacking trip. For some this might mean a full omellete breakfast setup, a couple liters of wine, unlimited dehydrated food packs, or the most recent monopoly edition.

Who should sign up? If you are somebody who has done a single night of backcountry camping before, is sufficiently fit to hike 15km's with a maximum of 1000m of elevation gain per day while carrying 40-50 pounds, and are looking for your next dumb challenge, sign up!

Maximum trip size: For now the maximum trip size will be 12 (dependent on the amount of cars).

Disclaimer: If nobody signs up because Im the only loser without a ticket to rock party, then I will cancel this trip.
