Description:

Ever wander the aisles of save on foods and go: " wow, I wish I could be cool and catch my own food instead of buying it from the store"?! Well now is your chance to go catch a fish! (and maybe cook it too).

The plan is to Evo out to Chilliwack and fish the Vedder River for the day. There is Chinook, Chum, and Coho salmon to catch, with the chance to keep a couple for dinner! We will be walking along the river and through the bush, so don't be afraid to get wet (although you won't need waders).

Beginners are more than welcome, but at minimum you need a fishing rod and reel, as I don't have any extras (maybe others do?) You will also need a BC Freshwater fishing license.

A one day license costs $10 and can be purchased at: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/sports-culture/recreation/fishing-hunting/fishing/recreational-freshwater-fishing-licence

The time we leave can be subject to change based on interest. Cost of travel will be split between members evenly.
