Description:

What is a stuff sack? How do I pitch a tent? How do I... do my business in the woods? Are you looking to get outdoors, but don't really know how? This is the workshop for you! Come join us for an instructional evening on the basics of camping/overnight outdoor trips, right here on campus! We'll meet at the clubroom for a bit of a rundown on Leave No Trace, the 10 essentials, packing, layering, and planning for a trip. Then we'll take it outside to practice pitching a tent, looking for a camping spot, practicing wildlife safety, cooking a delicious meal, etc.!

Note: We are not certified guides or "professionals", just people stoked on being outside and looking to spread that stoke! If you are interested, sign up as interested, and come meet us at the clubroom in the basement of the Nest (next to the grand noodle emporium).

Open to non-members!

If you have any questions, email me ([email protected]), Elizabeth ([email protected]), or Rebecca ([email protected])!

See you there!
