Description:

If you're like me and just starting to get into whitewater paddling or other river sports, a swiftwater rescue course is arguably as important as AST-1 is for winter backcountry travel.

I found a swiftwater/whitewater rescue course through Boreal River Rescue in Squamish, April 20-21. It's not cheap, $379 before tax, but if we sign up as a group of 3 to 5, then we save 10%, or if we sign up as 6 or more, then we save 15%.

Depending how much interest there is, I could inquire about running a private VOC trip, similar to the AST-1 trips that Peter has organized.

I am hoping to book this pretty soon so sign up as soon as you can commit!

I am willing to drive a group of peeps up to Squamish for the course if it ends up happening.
