Description:

I have just discovered that Subterranean, a documentary about caving on Vancouver Island and in the Rockies, is somehow free to watch on the Knowledge Network, British Columbia's public "educational" streaming service. Having heard about this film on last November's Uncle of Underground trip, and having partially explored one of the caves featured in the film, needless to say I am stoked to finally be able to see it. I'd like to share it with the rest of the VOC, so come join me in the clubroom for a viewing.

Caving is a somewhat niche activity in the VOC, with only 1 or 2 trips a year, but is easily one of the coolest things I have ever done. Hopefully watching this film can get some of you stoked to sign up for the next Cousin of Cave and maybe we can grow caving into more of a thing in the VOC.
