Description:

There is a little bit of work to do at Sphinx hut so I thought it would be fun to do a little work hike. We'll work on the roof, check the fiberglass repair on one of the VOC canoes, and bring up a new heater. This trip does not need a lot of people and I don't plan any objectives other then the hut, swimming, and wandering around to look at plants. Its a great opportunity to get to sphinx if you have never been, especially if you are not a skiier. 

The trip is tenative pending BC parks giving us access to canoes, the lake is unfrozen,  and the weather is good. Getting to Sphinx bay involves a 6 km paddle accross Garibladi lake and I will cancel if conditions are not good. If you join you should feel confident you can paddle the 6 km accross the lake.
