Description:

Ready to improve your whitewater paddling? Look no further!

Have you done the intro to whitewater course last fall, or already have some experience in a whitewater kayak? Do you want to try out some class III water?

River Culture Kayaking is a Squamish based outfitter with fantastic, caring, cool instructors willing to offer special deals for VOCers! Typically coming in at $450 per student, gear and coaching included, they're offering this course for $220 each if we gather 8 folks.

Here's how their website describes the course:

This three-day program is for people that know they want to be a whitewater paddler and already have some foundational skills. This course goes nicely with having just done our Intro to WW course, something similar with another school, or maybe your friends have taught you the basics.

We aim to progress your basic skill set and get you more capable & comfortable in your boat to start paddling some Class 2 to 3 whitewater. With 3 days to work with we'll be able to put a big focus on rolling, as well as eddy turns, ferries, scouting, and immersion safety. We'll work on getting you to the next step through practice and repetition. This course will also consist of coaching and feedback on each paddler’s specific needs and abilities as we paddle down the river.

Priority will go to those who took the intro to whitewater course last fall
