Hello all!
Do you like cheese ? Would you like to eat cheese and other assorted charcuterie while looking at an incredible view?🧀
The plan is that everyone bring a singular charcuterie item - and we have a potluck charcuterie board for lunch. For example, if you like brie a lot you bring big piece of brie to put on the charcuterie board. Between the whole hike I hope we can assemble a whole charcuterie board for our lunch. I hope to keep the hike relatively small, but big enough for a fun spread. Loving cheese and assorted charcuterie is a must for this trip.
We’ll be going to Semaphore lakes. I have been fascinated by the name of these lakes ever since taking CPSC 213, and am somewhat disappointed by the lack of mutex lakes.
We’ll try to leave early, as I hear the parking lot fills up. We’ll hike up the relatively short trail, and have our incredible charcuterie collection for lunch. We’ll set up camp there as well. In the afternoon, we might attempt a summit of Locomotive Mountain, or people are welcome to just enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the lake. Beginners, as long as they like cheese, are 100% welcome on this trip.
I’ll bring a wood cutting board in addition to my cheese and hope others can bring one too.
