Description:

“Life Could Be a Dream” is a series of summer/fall hiking and scrambling trips in 2024. The series aims to increase the amount of hiking activities within the club; help beginners discover the glory of the backcountry, and give veterans more opportunities to do what they love most.

West Lion. Visible from the city, a landmark of Vancouver. It is situated on the Howe Sound Crest Trail, one of the most beautiful trail of the north shore mountains. We will be attempting to summit via Cypress. This trip is designed for individuals with or without previous scrambling/climbing experince. Physical fitness will be required, since we will be gaining a lot of elevation and covering some distance. I will consider having a second group that does the trail without scrambling for the summit.

Must bring:

  • Water (>= 2L)
  • Rock helmet (available from the club)
  • Head lamp
