Description:

This is an overnight backpacking trip in Golden Ears Provincial Park, which requires a reasonable level of fitness and preparation. We will drive and park at Golden Creek, then hike up to Panorama Ridge, and set up camp. The next day, we will start early and summit Golden Ears to watch the sunrise, then head back down and return to the carpark.

Estimated Costs

I will hire an Evo, which will cost approx. $47.6/person (five people), or $59.5 (four people). The backcountry permit is $5/person. You will obviously also need to cover any relevant additional individual expenses (e.g. the cost of purchasing your food).

If any of the participants have a car that we can use, then the transportation cost would be lower.
