Unfortunetaly I will not be able to organize/attend this trip. Feel free to reach out to the drivers on the list if you still want to plan your own group to head up for the opening weekend.
Will try to organize a VOC Whistler trip in the new year so check the trip agenda periodically.

You know the drill. WE RIDE AT DAWN! (it'll be an early morning)
Tentative plan as conditions are still unkown. Just building hype for those that enjoy a chairlift to deliver them to the slopped holy land (touring is dope, not trying to start WW3 here).
Ideally those that have a student season pass - don't waste a single day pass on this rockfest.
Will make a more elaborate plan closer to the date. If it's a decent squad I'm thinking big ski day followed by a dinner in the village or Squamish to reflect on our sore bums and stories of legendary (triumphant) face plants. A group full of VOC'ers plus early season snow = GULP
We'll need a few drivers. My car can take a very cozy 4 or comfortable 3 (including me). As well, this is planned to be a day trip (unless we can put so many bodies in an airbnb that it doesnt cost a mortgage).
Might change date to Saturday or Sunday as well. Stay tuned.
