Description:

Do you love doing VOC events and want to help make them even better? Do you have an idea for an awesome weekend that nobody else has ever made happen? Do you want the satisfaction of making people happy? Do you want to build your logistical skills? Then you should lead a trip!

But leading a trip can be intimidating. People will depend on you. Things can go wrong. It sounds like a lot of work.

In this talk, I will show you how trip-leading can be effortless and fun. I will give a recipe for baking trips that are a smooth success rather than a messy muddle. Most of all, I want to convince you that you, too, can and should lead trips!

(You can also come if you just want to find out what's gone wrong on all the trips that I've been on.)

Snacks and drinks recommended. Heckling allowed. There may be useful takeaways, but this is not guaranteed.

Location: VOC clubroom, in the Nest.

Time: October 9 at 6:00 pm.

Also: if you want to share things gone wrong on trips that you've done, and how they could be better planned for, please do tell! Feel free to contact me beforehand.
