Description:

Join me on my Thanksgiving tradition of finding scenic locations to eat pie.

This year, I'm planning to do Evan's Peak in Golden Ears: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/british-columbia/evans-peak-trail. This will be ~9km and ~1000m elevation gain, with some steep/scrambling sections. Location is subject to change based on condition leading up to Thanksgiving and how far I feel like carrying a pie.

"And if anyone has ideas for how to transport a pie up a mountain such that it's still intact at the top, please let me know, last year's strategy left some room for improvement"

- my trip description from last year

The 2023 pie made it to the summit in slightly better condition than the 2022 pie, but I'm still optimizing...
