Description:
Slip slide up and down the mountains of the North Shore with me whilst observing pretty mushrooms!
The plan is to hike the Baden-Powell from the Cleveland Dam (DAMN!) at 9am to Horseshoe Bay and bus back. Believe this is about 22km? Around 1200m of gain. I don't know a lot about this trail, but I believe it is pretty well maintained, goes over Black Mountain summit as well as Eagle Bluffs.
It'll be raining about 20mm but personally, I find the mist makes the mushrooms all the more magical. Feels like trekking through the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter.
This'll be the long day, but hoping it'll be fairly chill! Make sure to bring lots of water and food. Not sure exactly when we'll be back. Imagining 6-8 hours.
