Description:
Hi all!
1.5 cords have been delivered to the Brew trailhead. Unfortunately, the trail up to Brew is quite significantly longer than up to Phelix, so we would need a helicopter to help bring it up. However, helicopter flights are very weather dependent, and our last flight got cancelled, so we're going to try for the weather window next Thursday, with potential backup dates for the following weekend.
The date isn't set yet, so if we get a group of people who are confidently available another workday that week, that would work too.
We need a car of people (at least 2-3) to drive up to Whistler, pick up the cargo nets, load them, and stack the wood at the trailhead. If you have any availability on Thursday morning-afternoon, or other days throughout the week please email me at [email protected], or message me at (408)480-8267
Your help would be very much appreciated! This will help keep the hut warm throughout the winter, and prevent the wood from going bad. Your gas from Vancouver and back would be covered :). Potentially, we would also need someone to hike up to communicate with the helicopter up on top.
No hiking or other experience necessary - just certainty in that you can make it that day.
