Description:

Lets go camp overnight on mt seymour! There should be snow and it will be beginner friendly.

The plan is to head up Mt Seymour in the morning to around pump peak or maybe beyond and camp overnight. The hike should not take too long so there will be plenty of time to mess around in the snow and maybe build some snow caves and dance around in the snow (ceilidh? salsa?). I will bring up a pizza that will hopefully not be frozen by dinner time so as to not affect my delivery ratings.

Here is a list of some of the gear you may need for a winter overnight trip if it is your first time https://www.ubc-voc.com/wiki/Gear_Lists#Winter_Overnight

Can choose to snowshoe or ski up, the terrain is simple but please take the Coast Mountain BC’s Avy Savvy course if you plan on skiing and haven taken AST 1
