Description:

The Lizzie Creek Cabin is a tiny cabin in the Pemberton/Duffey area that sees very little traffic but is home to some pretty great skiing. The plan would be to ski in on Sunday, stay at the hut for 3 nights while we explore skiing the peaks around the hut, and then ski out on Wednesday. The approach is fairly long (~15 km, ~1300 m gain) but was brushed out in the fall meaning that it is easier to access than in the past. We likely won't be skiing any huge lines, but rather exploring the area and heading up some nearby peaks. AST-1 is certainly required as well as decent fitness and backcountry experience. The dates are somewhat flexible.
