Description:

Shred both types of white caps in the same day! We will start at sea level and ascend 2 km above it by sunset.

 

 

NO SAILING EXPERIENCE NEEDED - BEGINNERS ENCOURAGED

  1. Jericho Sailing Centre (JSCA) 
  2. Cypress Mountain 

 

The Plan:

9:30 AM  - Meet at Jericho Sailing Centre (JSCA)

10:30 AM - Rig up and sail Quests, guided by Sailing Club members.

3:00 PM Head up to Cypress Mountain

5:00 PM Meet outside Cypress Olympic Rings

5:30 PM Shred (we will make ski groups at the pre-trip)

10:30 PM Local Brewery (optional)

**Signing up DOES NOT guarantee you a spot. We will email those confirmed as registered near the end of February (before the pre-trip). 

 

Gear Needed:

  • Ski/Board / Poles / Goggles
  • Snow Clothes
  • Winter Wetsuit (>3mm)

*** If you don't have some of the gear needed, we will help you acquire it during the pre-trip. UBC Aqua Society has kindly offered to lend us their winter wetsuits.

  • Cypress Night Skiing Pass (20% discount) ~$61
