Description:

Cassiope (2290m) and Saxifrage (2500m) mountains are a pair of peaks close together in the Duffey lake area. I'd like to summit one or both of them, as well as hopefully check out some of the cool skiing lines in the area.

The plan would likely be to head up early on Saturday morning, ski up to the lake from North Joffre creek, and set up camp at/near the lake, and then head up further for some laps / recon. Then Sunday morning head up to one/both of the peaks, depending on conditions what ski line(s) we pick out.

This trip requires AST1 and some touring experience, intermediate/advanced skiing ability (I'm not the most amazing skier and I'm not looking to do anything crazy, but I'd like to check out Saxifrage's east face (40ish degrees) if conditions are stable), and ideally winter camping experience. You should be able to actively participate in the decision-making process during the trip
