Description:
Come listen to me talk about my 7 day trip paddling down the Suwannee River in Northern Florida! I, along with 11 of my friends in the Bowdoin Outing Club (my previous college's outdoor club), got the opportunity to embark on this canoe odyssey last March. It was a complete blast, although of course riddled with many obstacles and a few too many confederate flags. I'll go into detail about the trip itself, and also talk a bit about the differences between the VOC and the BOC. Join me in the clubroom for a window into the life of an outdoor club from a tiny college in Maine & some (hopefully) amusing stories.
