Beginner friendly!

Looking for a creative way to put off studying for your finals? Wanna blow off some steam after your last exam? Come ride your bike in a circle for a few hours!

Apparently some people in Vancouver get together once a year to ride 200 laps (or more, or less) around the Shaugnessy park roundabout (roughly 100km). I'm really keen to check it out and it seems like the sort of silly/slightly masochistic thing that many VOCers enjoy.

We can bike as a team or individually, we can do it as a relay or all do 200 laps. Ridiculous bikes and outfits are encouraged. You can come just to hang out and cheer people on if you don't feel like riding. Maybe the VOC band could come play some tunes to boost morale?

I'll add anyone who signs up to a whatsapp groupchat to sort out the details. Hopefully we can find bikes for anyone who wants to join but doesn't have one. I've got a junk bike in my basement that could potentially become useable or be sacrificed to anyone who wants to build some sort of franken-bike.
