Description:

This is meant for people who can lead but haven't got a chance to practice a lot and build confidence. So if you are a trad climber (unless you do have a desire to practice more on intermediate routes) or have no lead experience please do not sign up! (so Rock 3 climbers is the audience here)

There's no hard requirements regarding the grades, but being able to top rope low to mid 5.10s outdoors will make things more enjoyable. Of course nobody will be "forced" to climb things they don't feel comfortable to climb, and there will be 5.8 and 5.9 routes available!

We will likely go to Area 44, Electric Avenue or Murrin Park where there's a plethora of 5.9/5.10 sport routes. I'm hoping to limit the group size to 8 people so as not to crowd the crag and facilitate learning, but can be flexible if needed.

If the conditions aren't good on Saturday we'll go on Sunday.
