3.0 km. From Brew Creek Main trail goes west up to the lake. There are two ways to reach the start of this trail. The original way (still the most direct) is to park at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park and use the Railway to Brew Connector. The second longer way is via the Brew Creek Main that leaves the highway just north of brandywine falls. There are several branches to this road, one of which crosses the trail at about 750m elevation in a clearcut. The gate to the road is locked, as Brew Creek is the water supply for Black Tusk Estates. Some small crags along the new road offer minimal to nonexistent rock climbing potential.
