File:LizzieCreekCabinTrail.GPX
2.2 km; Trail2; Runs from end of old Lizzie Lake Road to the cabin; After leaving the Lizzie Creek Main, the Lizzie Cabin Trail wanders through a Forest Service Campground before becoming well-defined as it heads slightly east of due south as it climbs the bench to the east of Lizzie Lake. Significant trail use has helped create some fair mud pits, but these tend to be short-lived; The trail has some short steep sections as it quickly climbs to contour into the Gates of Shangri-La, a weakness in the granite cliffbands that dominate the area. After some scrambling over large talus, a short smooth trail leads directly to the Lizzie cabin. From the cabin, a number of trails and routes head off in all directions.
