Template:Trip signup

	Signup Closed
	This is the sign up and organization page for an old trip. It already happened on {{{day}}}-{{{month}}}-{{{year}}}. Please do not sign up for it.

Usage

Put this template at the top of the signup section in your trip organization page. If the current date is after the date of the trip, the template will display a "Signup Closed" message so people don't sign up for the trip. The template will show a "Signup Lock" message until a pre-selected number of days before the trip. At this point, the "Signup Open" banner will appear, allowing members to signup until the start of the trip.

Parameters

pretrip	If there is a pre trip meeting, set this to the number of before the trip that the pre trip meeting takes place. I.e. if the trips starts on a Saturday, and the pre trip meeting is Thursday then set pretrip=2. The signup will be automatically locked starting the day after the pre trip meeting. Between the pretrip meeting and the start of the trip, a special message will be displayed.	Optional	0

Basic

Advanced

• For a trip on November 16, 2008 with a 14-day signup window before the first day of the trip: {{trip signup|day=16|month=11|year=2008|open=14}}
• For a trip with a pre-trip meeting on April 30, 2008 and an unlimited signup period: {{trip signup|day=30|month=4|year=2009|pretrip=1}}
• For a trip starting September 27th, 2008, with a pre-trip meeting on September 23rd, 2008 and a limited 21 day signup period: {{trip signup|day=27|month=9|year=2008|pretrip=4|open=25}} Note: the opening of the signup period is 25 days before the first day of the trip, and the pre trip meeting is 4 days before the first day of the trip.
