Template talk:Hutbox
What do people think? I think it's working quite nicely now. Time to incorporate into all the huts pages? Matthew 19:05, 24 July 2007 (PDT)

- Looks great, I'd say go for it. Scott Webster 21:19, 24 July 2007 (PDT)
- I think it looks good too. The only change I would make would be to make both the NAD27 and WGS84 UTMs optional. I think it would be best to use the datum that goes with whatever NTS map sheet the hut is on. For most maps, and thus most huts, the NAD 27 datum is used. This way of thinking is more applicable to people who use paper maps rather than GPS receivers for navigation, but IMO anyone who owns a GPS should have a good enough understanding of datums to deal with this issue. - Can I suggest the following additional fields: Fee, Reservations, Locked Scott Nelson 16:11, 30 July 2007 (PDT)
- Good idea, I added those fields and included them on the Brew Hut page. Looks good to me. -- Matthew 09:58, 31 July 2007 (PDT)
- Potentially the reservations field could somehow link to the registration page for VOC huts, but we don't really want to make it look like a required reservation... Scott Webster 17:54, 31 July 2007 (PDT)
OK, so I installed the hutbox template on the Brew Hut page and reorganised things a bit in a way I think makes sense - I'll do some more, but if anyone else wants to add them, go ahead - there are a fair number of huts listed on the Huts page. -- Matthew 01:19, 26 July 2007 (PDT)
