Description:

This is not a beginner trip and if you sign up you should be comfortable with backpacking, bushwacking and scrambling. Atheleny pass has been on my list for some time and Cassandra thought it would make a great VOC trip after a previous spectaular trip there in 2018. Our plan would be go up as a group and do some of the scrambles for a couple days before heading back on Monday. The surrounding area offers endless scrambles, mountaineering, glaciers, and beautiful ridge walks depending on people's ability.

Access to Athelney pass requires 4x4 and a bit of bushwacking but the payoff is well worth it. Here are a couple trip reports to give you an idea:
